I have found myself a property to rent which is vacant from 28th April. My issue is that I am currently in my own house and although it is sold and everything is with solicitors last May is probably going to be the earliest that I can complete.
As a Landlord would you accept a months rent to secure the rental of the property without an actual contract being signed?
As I cannot 100% commit until my completion and don’t have the money to put rent long term until this point is this an acceptable suggestion as not to lose the house??
To be fair I am not getting pressure from the landlord but I am sure they wouldn’t wish to have the house empty making no money as I know I wouldn’t want that to happen.
