Apart from axing The Tenant Tax (AKA Section 24), what would you like to see in tomorrows first budget of the year?

Won’t happen mate, because basically it brings PRS investors into line with other borrowers who invest in non property investments and general home buyers and it is a vote winner for the general public as part of landlord bashing.

I would advocate 2 things:

Scrap the £10 Xmas bonus for OAP’s – it’s meaningless and was only introduced by Labour to win votes.

Increase the starting age for a free bus pass to a min of 65 years (currently 60). Why should working age people get free transport to work.

Tax MP’s expenses.  Take away MP’s subsidised food and alcohol.  Close the car park in the palace of Westminster for all but disabled MP’s, use the free space to provide housing for the needy.

It would appear that serious economics have been replaced by stand up comedy from the Tories this year  ! ! ! Yell
