I believe the sites should work with each other

They all have their merits and it is useful to refer to each other

If I remember correctly I only found LRS because of property118.

I believe all the major fora should refer to each other and work together on campaigns etc.

Just a thought

Do any lawyers know ?

If a tenant living in a shared room House in Multiple Occupation owns a main home elsewhere  and receives a S21 or other eviction form from his HMO landlord . Does the fact that he owns his own main home elsewhere with family in , impact on his defense to the judge that “he has no where to go”

I have just explained about LRS on the NLA forum  to landlords on there that have asked why there is no data base for bad tenants?  Whether my answer gets past the NLA censors- i do not know . The answer from someone on their forum  is that, ” there isn’t a bad tenant database –  because you could get sued for libel” I also explained that if the case has been proven in court its not libel. A typical example is the on- line London data base for bad landlords.

Thank you Amy for posting.

Its great to hear we have support of users like yourself. Unfortunately this is such a common response to the Tenant History concept. In regards to Arrears and Damages as all landlords document this in their rent books and in their finances and as you have specified it is evidence based. A common element missed in what we do is that the reports are built form our management system, and although it does include records of previous tenants that have left in arrears or with damage it is also giving great credit to thousands of great tenants showing a clean rental history.
