Recently I had someone apply for a tenancy at one of my nicest flats. He came across as a really nice and formal person, so instantly I had a really good impression on him. I almost didn’t reference him I was that impressed by him! But there was something in the back of my head that was saying this is too good to be true… Confused

I went onto your website and had a lifestyle reference check on the tenant, just to see if anything fishy would pop up. And funnily enough he did come up on your system! I was shocked to see that he was about £1500 in arrears and a couple of hundred in property damages!  Surprised I checked the N.I again because I couldn’t believe it. Immediately I contacted the landlord to ask him a couple of questions. He said that the tenant came across as a kind/posh gentleman at first then as soon as he got the tenancy he became aggressive towards neighbours and unclean towards the flat.

I’m so glad I did a lifestyle reference because it prevented me from taking on this rogue tenant, which is a massive relief! I do feel bad for his previous landlord but at least he has uploaded the tenant which I am thankful for.SmileI will definitely be uploading my tenants over the next couple of weeks because I know how much it could help someone! 5/5

It’s a fantastic service that LRS provides, the lifestyle reference is unique and it also helps good tenants get the recognition they deserve.

I upload all my tenants good and bad, it’s very difficult to judge someone you have just met and very easy to get it wrong; so I don’t take any chances and run any perspective tenants through the lifestyle referencing as well as credit checks; I have also had a few bad ones turn up but thankfully avoided taking them!

Give up the game that’s what!
What area are you in Sheila? And I hope you uploaded this wretch as an applicant tenant also?

I wonder if this tenant was uploaded and it is the same one I have just searched and come up with the same information or just yet a different scumbag coming across well.
