Back to the housing market again, and how it could be affected by the Brexit vote.

Credit agency Moody’s says the post-referendum uncertainty will weigh on mortgage
lending, particularly in the buy-to-let sector.

It’s a double whammy for buy-to-let landlords, Moody’s says, of uncertainty about whether rental income
and house prices will grow in future, combined with recent stamp duty changes…

Brexit has nothing to do with mortgage lending

The PRA,

BaselIII

Lower LTV and pay rates

Potential MMR for LL

S24

Double SDLT

These will be affecting LL 

There will be no shortage of demand

But LL will struggle to raise sufficient mortgage finance and they will need far larger deposits.
