A prospective tenant has been to see me this afternoon but I don't think everything he is telling me about his job stacks out.  Question will your referencing give me an employment score ?

Just obtain a RGI quote from say discountlettings and they will tell you whether he meets the RGI requirement.

If he doesn't don't take him on.

Good Morning Cedric,

Apologies have been out this morning.

After the report has been prepared if you require further details then please log in your Experian Account.  Proceed to view all checks and click onto whichever application you wish to check.  Scroll down to Section 8 which is highlighted as - SM Data.  This gives you an authenticate score, tenancy score and employment score.

This should give you all the additional information you require.

Don't forget we are able to answer any questions between 9am-5pm.

Chris

Who cares what an authentic score is; what does that do?

Absolutely nothing.

Why bother to go through the cost of ascertaining such when for £10.00 you may check the tenant for validity for an RGI policy.

If they pass then for another £89.00 you may obtain RGI for 1 year with no excess for £50000.00 per claim including legal costs.

I I never concern myself with any score I just use the RGI company to carry the check out.

If they fail it has cost me £10.00!

Obviously qualification for RGI is not the be all and end all .

The LRS services should also be used thoroughly in conjunction with RGI.

The lifestyle referencing etc. is  still a valuable reference necessity.

Receipt of rent monies is not the only important aspect of consideration whan taking on a tenant.

And then you can take your RGI insurance with us which is the best for £96 /insurance_services/ and that way you will be supporting your network and keep all the free stuff we give our members free forever.

I am sure what Paul means is use the sponsor product on this site because the small profit we make keeps the network growing thus keeping us all safe in the future.Laugh

Yes absolutely that is what I meant.

Even to the point of perhaps there being a small price differential in RGI cost.

To maintain the FREE LRS facility is clearly of far more overall importance than any minor saving one may make on an alternative RGI policy or other products.

Indeed so crucial is the importance of LRS that there should be an appreciation that to maintain the FREE indispensable services of LRS that there is a case for paying a small differential for products sourced via LRS.

Indeed one could view such differentiation as a charitable contribution!

The amount of monies that some of us LL would have lost if LRS wasn't around would have been out of all proportion to the posible slight additional cost of alternative product providers.
