Today the Internet Advertising Bureau UK (IAB) have revealed, despite the national economic downturn, that the UK internet ad-spend experienced its biggest increase in five years.

This means that online display advertising has increased by 14.4% to a new high of £4,784 million in 2011,

up £687 million year on year.

Read the full report here.

We are extremely happy to announce that our official statistics for March, 2012 (below) reveal

our first 1,000,000+ traffic hits to our website.

Therefore we would like to thank you ALL for regularly accessing the website, reading our blogs and posting in our discussion forum.

(To enlarge these statistics simply enlarge your screen resolution by pressing Ctrl and + together.

To reduce it simply press Ctrl and – together.)

At Landlord Referencing we keep our unique services free via our Sponsors Directory; whereby companies that wish to specifically target landlords & letting agents sponsor our website (for a small fee) and in return we promote their profession to a specific targeted audience, via various social media platforms.

All revenue is reinvested into sustaining and growth of our website and community of members.

The reason we do not use flashing banners, etc, is simply because they offend the majority of our customers – and we take all feedback from our community into consideration; because without them we simply wouldn't exist!

So if you're looking for a specific service please consider using our directory; because the more members we have, the more data we have on tenants, which improves our free service; which protects your investment and more importantly yours & your tenants personal safety.

OR book your advertising slot with us now – with dramatically reduced prices; on a first come first served basis.

Plus, when you are a sponsor of Landlord Referencing you will be permitted to post stories relevant to your company in our community forum (including back-links, logo's, etc) which will promote your company even more.

Read our official statistics for the first two months of 2012 here.

And read our previous blog; Why is online advertising growing at 100% a year?

Hi Thanks to all our new sponsors today. We have had over 7 today alone and they are already seeing hits to their pages from our Landlords because  60p a day all inclusive is a pretty good deal to a site that is seeing over 1 million hits a month.

Thanks again for your support in keeping the service free for our Landlords.

Can't say I understand all of the original post, but I have to say congratulations for your one million visitors.  It proves that my friends (and yes I do consider you all as friends at LRS) must be doing something right.  Onwards and upwards……Cedric

Hi Cedric,

And then we had Over 1.6 million hits in April. The most important thing is, WHY?  Because the plain fact is that Landlordreferencing.co.uk helps everyone who is decent Landlords, Agents and Tenants alike.

I was once told that you reap what you sow and @ landlordreferencing we reap fairness and deceny and that is what we are getting in return we help:

1) Landlords not take uncaring and deceptive tenants.

2) We help Letting Agents not give their clients uncaring and deceptive tenants.

3)  We help good tenants with good references & stop them getting dreadful neighbours and we do it free.

I can see a time when lifestyle referencing is the norm and even today others are copying our model and calling their references Lifestyle and tagging them on google to ride on our traffic, BUT! we all know where the real home of lifestyle referencing is it's with US @ landlordreferencing.co.uk Laugh

Thank you everyone and keep passing the message to protect one another
