I am trying to get advice on how best to deal with anti social neighbours that have been a nuisance for around 18 Months--- it involves 2 neighbours- one been a tenant for 3yrs and the other at a different house for around 6 months but they are friends so the trouble has migrated between both houses on the street. I am trying to persuade the other residents to draw up a petition but as you will see from the list I am adding the level of violence has scared them including me.
Anti Social Behaviour and terrorism from female tenants of number 16 and number 24 and various male visitors.
Verbal abuse to their children day and night.
Verbal and physical abuse towards their animals openly on the street.
Verbal abuse and threatening behaviour towards all residents including threats of murder, arson and bodily harm.
Discussing openly drug selling, possession and use in the street.
Gun possession openly in the street with threats of use against street residents this concluded with armed police attendance and entrance into number 24 with the suspect/male guest making good his escape only to return hours later.
Domestic and general actual bodily harm towards each other on the street.
Slamming of internal and external doors day and night especially when entering or leaving both premises on a daily basis.
Gaining entrance to above properties by forcefully kicking open the doors to rear and front.
Accessing properties mentioned above via climbing on walls and through alleyways that adjoin the properties number 24 and number 16 to rear and sides and severe verbal abuse to those who challenge them and ask them to stop.
Throwing items such as wheely-bins and bricks through windows 3 times downstairs and once upstairs whilst children in their care residing at number 24.
Presumed stolen vehicles racing up and down the street at all hours and abandoned on street, onetime a vehicle with the nearside tyre missing.
Attempted removal of yellow police wheel clamp with a lump hammer with attendance of police.
Robbery of equipment from a residents vehicle on the street with police attendance and stolen property taken into number 16 and then taken via a backyard route into number 24 where police recovered said stolen property and tenant at number 24 arrested along with tenants male guests at number 16 and recovery of a gun. Also police car presence on street overnight for safety of residents and peace of mind.
Vandalism and theft of property to include removal of roof flashing lead, brick and coping damage/removal.
Tenant of number 24 has mostly abandoned her residence and now resides at number 16 with various male guests who were involved in the above mentioned.
Tenant of number 16 resides infrequently overnight on a regular basis and is possibly subletting to resident from number 24.
Discarding of rubble and rubbish into rear alleyway and bin waste to include nappies onto street frontage.
The banging and throwing of bins regularly during arguments along the street length.
This is causing severe stress and anxiety to other residents, their children and pets.
Residents fear making statements due to severe threats of violence and knowing the local authorities have limited ability to help or protect them.
