Hi Liza,

Sorry for the delayed reply; we've been SO busy over Christmas it's quite unbelievable to say the least!

We're currently still working on & updating the discussion forum, and we are aware of how that page seems to be "broken".

I've contacted our Technical Team about it & as soon as it's fixed I'll let you know ASAP.

But thanks for letting us know and if you notice anything else please don't hesitate to get back in contact again.
Remember; this is just as much YOUR website as it is ours Smile

sorry to hijack this post but I have two questions regarding the forum.

I cannot see a button anywhere on the page to start a new topic , how do I do this please

perhaps it is being covered by the really annoying box that shows the facebook and twitter numbers that scrolls down over the top of evry post, how do I get rid of that please ?

thanks

Morning mrslandlord Smile

The reason we have the box there is because many a member, when leaving comments or just browsing the discussion, like to tweet/facebook it out for others to view, so unfortunately you cannot turn it off.

To start a new topic if you scroll up to the top of the start of (each) discussion, above the first comment you'll see
Add a New Topic ~ can you see it now??

Apologies for the size of the icons in the forum, that's something I'm currently working on to make larger & alot more user friendly!

Hello

no still cannot see it . if it is on the left hand side then the box that scrolls down hides it .

how can anyone like that feature , when you scroll down it scrolls down too and covers buttons and text , so i can't read the posts properly either

I've just moved the "Floating Social" bar to the top left of the page now, so it shouldn't be over lapping anything.

If you hover over the "Existing Members" bar (along the black menu bar at the top of each page)
Click on "Community Forum" (which is underneath "Discussion Forum")
And just above the first topic of discussion (which at the moment is :"Techological Times to Survive")
You'll see "Page 1,2,3,4,5 > 6"
And just to the right of that you should see " Add a New Topic "
(underneath " Add a New Topic " you should be able to see:   New Posts since your last visit     Topics you have posted in

Hope this helps??? Laugh
