Hi All,

Now I am not a gossip! well maybe a little bit Laugh but I have heard through the grape vine that a naughty Credit Referencing Company and Rent Guarantee Insurance Company are in trouble for trading data that was given to the insurance company by tenants and then sold back to the reference company without the tenants permission..

Where is Sherlock when you need him have you heard of such a thing? Someone call Matt Allwright "AllRight"

Hi Mary,

I met a very large council housing officer this week (Not her being large Laugh) and they are certainly caught between a rock and a hard place when it comes to housing bad tenants and keeping landlords sweet. I think it is time to choose and Samii wrote a piece on it this week take a butchers if you get a mo!Smile

That sounds like to much compliancy for any woman.. scary undertones in that statement lolConfusedLaugh

Anyway It is time for councils to choose show landlords common decency and join something that will stop them from taking bad tenants and help others not have bad neighbours or turn a blind eye to moral correctness to meet a Government policy mandate that we all deserve a home at whatever cost we bring to bear on others.

The problem is I don't agree, I am a great believer that in life we all should reap what we sow.

Maybe it all stems from the way our society looks at things. This week a guy who did not want to lose his benefits if he didn't do work experience for Tesco said “why should  I do a job that I don’t want to do that is not fair”, so it seems like he won’t have to now as the plan is being scrapped because all the big corporates don't want bad publicity.

So now I say to him why should I pay my taxes to support him not working when he can do and I don’t want to. Equality in our democratic society,  don’t ya just love it!!Yell
