Tenants are you missing out?
As most people are aware; when your credit score is calculated it is considered based on many different factions. It is also made up from information drawn from a pool of many, many resources; such as your
- Bank Account
- Credit Card Payments
- Council Tax Payments
- Mortgage and CCJ’s
- etc…
All of this data is gathered and a credit score is created on you to tell others whether you should be considered for a credit card , mortgage, etc.
Most of us also know how awful it is when we think our credit rating is fine, only to get turned down by a lender or mortgage company for ‘no apparent reason.’
But why should you be judged when your credit score does not reflect your real payment history ?
As a tenant your rental payments are not taken into account within your credit history. So if you are a great tenant, paying your rent on time and looking after your rented home it counts for nothing on your credit score …
“UNTIL NOW”
LandlordReferencing.co.uk is striving to make a change to this for you, because we just don’t think it is fair that a good tenant does not get recognition for good rental payments - why should mortgage payers have more rights than rent payers???
We are currently talking to a major Credit Referencing company to add your rent payments to your credit file to repair your credit history.
Due to data protection and to ensure your details are 100% you will need to get your Landlord or Letting Agent to become a member and register you on our system as a tenant, along with your good payment record.
So if you would like us to contact your Landlord or Letting Agent to ask them to join us so that you can benefit from this please fill out the form below and we will contact them to express your wishes.
