Lord Mayor of Portsmouth endorses Landlord Referencing Services
Having met The Lord Mayor of Portsmouth at The PDPLA Landlord & Property Show a couple of weeks ago we went onto ask her what she thought of the principle of landlords and letting agents networking together to avoid anti-social/disruptive tenants moving around areas, creating havoc and destroying all of our communities.
Councillor Lynne Stagg replied :
“As the mother of three children who have attended university and lived in rented accommodation, I am very aware of the great range in the standard of rented accommodation. At the same time I have known landlords who have had a wide range of tenants varying from the extremely well behaved to those who have caused significant damage to their accommodation. It’s great to be able to check out the quality of both tenants and landlords before contracts are signed. It’s a safeguard for both sides.”
Many thanks to Councillor Stagg for taking the time to reply to LRS and visit our stand at The PDPLA Landlord & Property Show at the Queens Hotel in Southsea, Portsmouth on 12th March 2014.
