Landlord VS Tenant | YOU DECIDE.

Landlord Referencing Services have been approached by a tenant regarding ‘malicious and fraudulent’ information contained on the LRS website.

On Monday 4th February 2013 LRS received a telephone call followed by an email, requesting the removal of ‘malicious and fraudulent information’ contained in a post on the Landlord Referencing Community Forum.

In an extract taken from the first email the tenant states:

‘It has come to my attention that malicious, fraudulent, offensive, damaging to my reputation information has been repeatedly posted on your website by a person called ‘Paul Barrett ( PaulBarrett, Memeber since 11/10/2011).

He calls me acomplete and utter wrongun’, claims that ‘ bitch took me for £12000’, et al.

Mr Barrett claims that my son is a criminal acting together with me.

Please note that I have never been Paul Barrett’s tenant or entered into any contracts with him.’

Landlord Referencing takes this kind of accusation extremely seriously, as we pride ourselves on providing correct and factual data as well as continuing to work within the guidelines of the ICO (Information Commissioner’s Office) and Data Protection.
