Avon Fire and Rescue Service and North Somerset Council support new landlord group
Avon Fire and Rescue Service and North Somerset Council are supporting the first NLCE event by donating 10 year battery smoke detectors, which will be free for the first group of landlords who attend their 1st training event taking place this month.
This follows the success of the Somerset Property Network this Summer, where a group of landlords set a precedent by uniting to prevent an unnecessary Selective Licensing scheme going ahead in Weston-super-Mare, North Somerset.
Last month Tenant Referencing UK reported on the official launch of The National Landlords Code of Excellence Ltd; a free Property Maintenance and Repair Report facility for private renting tenants, to help tackle the age-old problem of maintenance/repair issues between UK landlords and their tenants. And after launching their 1st accreditation one day seminar date it was sold out within a matter of days.
The (1st) NLCE Accreditation Day seminar, taking place in Weston-super-Mare on Thursday 24th November, will cover all the main areas that a landlord should know in order to operate a successful business, including:
☆ The preliminary requirement
☆ How to set up a Tenancy
☆ How to prevent problems occurring during a Tenancy
☆ What to do if things go wrong and what to do at the end of the Tenancy
The next NLCE Accreditation Day Seminar is due to take place on Thursday 19th January 2017 and (currently) still has places available.
Those interested in becoming part of a forward thinking group of pro-active landlords & agents who are dedicated to PRS best practice should visit www.nlceuk.co.uk for full information.
