Landlord Referencing is very happy to announce that we now have our fifth Credit Union partner on board; view their web page here @ Unifycu.org.
Unify members save and those savings are then used to give low cost loans to members. Then any profits at the end of the financial year are given back to the members in the form of an annual dividend. In 2011 the dividend was 2.5%. All members receive the same dividend and junior members are paid interest on savings equal to the adult members’ dividend.
Unify CU was established in 2002 by the formation of three small community credit unions. In 2009 the last remaining community credit union, Worsley Mesnes Credit Union, joined forces with Union – making Unify the largest credit union in Wigan Borough.
We believe that all landlords & tenants should join their local Credit Union because they will be able to offer the best solutions to rent arrears and evictions, by assisting tenants in managing their money and finances; especially with the impending welfare reform changes via Universal Credit.
We also hope that this will pave the way for other Credit Unions right across the UK to partner with us, via our latest pledge:
