According to Experian more and more people appear to be lying about their financial situation in order to open UK bank accounts.
In the first 3 months of 2012 Experian claim about 0.44% of all attempts to open a bank account were fraudulent, which is a 23% increase from the last three months of 2011. It is also the highest rate of deceitful claims in the past 3 years.
Experian say that the fraudulent attempts to open a current account were typically carried out by people who were “financially stressed” – e.g. concealing parts of their financial histories, such as previous failures to repay loans on time, etc.
In the first 3 months of 2012 Landlord Referencing recorded 147 Rent Defaults and 93 Property Damages via Tenant Alerts, which is a 33% increase from the first three months of 2011 that were recorded.
And last year alone we recorded £2,400,000 worth of accumulated Rent Defaults & Property Damages via our nationwide community of landlords vigilantly uploading their bad tenants onto our unique lifestyle referencing system.
What makes our system completely different to any other referencing service is that we are completely manually data-controlled.
This means that once you join us you are assigned your very own personal data controller/relationship manager-who manages your lifestyle tenant referencing, keeps you in touch with other landlords (in regards to tenants movements on a daily basis) and maintains your tenant upload history.
Therefore this makes our tenant referencing system the safest system around to date; as all landlords and letting agents are fully vetted before being granted access to the website AND no sensitive data is ever passed onto anyone as we simply put you in touch with the tenants last landlord, thus never putting any tenants details at risk.
Lifestyle Network Referencing = The Future of Tenant Referencing.
