Wishing you all a Happy Valentines Day from all of us at Landlord Referencing Services!
Sticking with the love & romance theme I've just read an article in the Landlord & Buy-to-Let Magazine (Issue 30, 2012) that “renting is the favoured option for 2012, as tenants believe buying a property will heighten their stress levels and ruin their relationships / sex lives.”
According to the statistical findings by conveyancing firm In-Deed;
“60 % of people who had bought or sold a house in the last 3 months thought the experience had aged them by two years.”
Many also reported:
hair loss
short-term memory failure
and diminished sex drive.
Amongst work, debt, giving birth & relationship problems buying property also rates highly amongst the most stressful experiences in life.
With the UK now adopting a very European approach to renting via our current uncertain economy, in the sense that Europeans tend to rent for much longer -
I was just wondering what YOUR opinions & experiences are on this?
Are you a tenant that agrees with these findings? Or disagree? – WHY?
Are you a landlord / letting agent that agrees? Or disagrees? – WHY?
Are you neither, but still have something to say about it?
ALL WELCOME TO JOIN IN THE DISCUSSION!
